Well done Shelagh, you wrote a super poem about the circus. I especially liked the use of a rhythmic pattern, which gave it a good pace! Two house points!
I am so sorry that you were disappointed with my lack of housepoints for your poem-although I must say I only give out housepoints very occasionally!!! I will bring you one of my special gold stars on Sunday in the hope that that will make up for it! Maybe you could come in and do a special poetry workshop with my class?!!!

I liked all the different images of the circus - you thought about so many different things it was almost I was there at the circus myself!
